As it continues to focus on international and domestic development, Checkd Group has sought to strengthen its performance marketing capabilities by hiring George Webb.
The latest addition to the company’s senior management will take on the role of Head of SEO, a newly created position at the Manchester-based betting media and technology business.
His chief remit will be to enhance the company’s performance marketing services whilst also seeking to boost organic traffic and optimise onsite revenue across its founding market of the UK as well as in North America.
Webb remarked: “I am thrilled to be joining the talented team at Checkd Group as it scales up its organic search operation. The role provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of a company at the forefront of igaming media and technology innovation.

Webb’s previous roles have included a tenure at igaming SEO agency Blueclaw before moving to digital agency UNRVLD and holding the role of Head of SEO for marketing firm Engage INteractive – his new position at Checkd marks a return to igaming after departing Blueclaw.
He takes on SEO duties at the firm as it continues to target international growth opportunities, having reported 36% revenue growth for 2022 driven by its core divisions of Checkd Media, Checkd Dev and Checkd International.
