Evgen Belousov: GR8 Tech is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in iGaming

The first half of 2023 has been a busy one for GR8 Tech – a brand evolution, expansion into new markets and even the launch of new products and solutions. But according to CEO Evgen Belousov, the latter half of this year will be brimming with bigger and better opportunities.

In a discussion with SBC News, Belousov reflects on the milestones of 2023 so far and looks forward to the remainder of 2023 as he explains why GR8 Tech is pushing the boundaries of ‘what is possible in iGaming’.

SBC: Thanks for taking the time to chat with us! What would you say have been the biggest milestones for GR8 Tech over the last six months?

EB: We’ve had a fantastic six months! We’ve been learning and growing, attending events like ICE London, and having many conversations with potential partners. These vital interactions have allowed us to refine our technology and present effective solutions tailored to the unique needs of the iGaming industry.

We’ve initiated discussions of our iGaming Launch solution with potential key clients, gaining invaluable insights along the way, enhancing the technological foundation of our brand along the way, and reinforcing our expertise and commitment to continuous improvement.

We’ve also marked significant progress in venturing into new geographies – Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe are in focus for us at the moment. These aren’t just milestones to us; they’re the solid ground that keeps us moving forward and motivates us to do more.

SBC: What would you say have been the biggest challenges when shifting from a primarily B2C to B2B brand? And how has GR8 Tech adapted to this brand evolution?

EB: That shift wasn’t an easy feat; it’s like asking a sprinter to start running marathons suddenly. Our most substantial hurdle lay in reshaping our approach – we needed to pivot from simply crafting engaging user interfaces to delivering personalised solutions that solve our clients’ problems and are flexible and easy to integrate with any other existing systems.

But we leaned into our wealth of operational expertise, turned our challenges into a puzzle to be solved, and here we are, speeding along the B2B track. We also adapted our marketing approach, reaching out to industry-specific publications and conferences and ensuring we delivered the message that GR8 Tech is now a B2B powerhouse. This is a new story for us to tell, but we’re excited about it.

SBC: Obviously a combination of tech and service is a core component of GR8 Tech’s expansion plans – how do you plan to innovate with this combined approach that you offer your partners?

EB: Our focus lies in combining our potent ML tools with the nuanced understanding and adaptability that human expertise brings. We aim to harness the predictive capabilities of AI to offer our partners increasingly tailored experiences that cater to their specific needs.

We’re also working on a set of products tailored to address very distinct needs. We strive to become a lifetime partner for our clients, able to provide one-stop solutions and meet all their needs from inception to execution and beyond. It’s a delicate balance, but one we’re confident we can master.

SBC: Are there any certain product trends that you believe will form a large part of your strategy going forward?

EB: Absolutely! We’re very interested in using artificial intelligence and machine learning in our solutions. The world is going forward at an extreme pace, and there are always new and exciting things to discover and explore. We believe these technologies will significantly enhance our ability to anticipate market trends and deliver personalised experiences for our clients.

SBC: Are there any particular markets / jurisdictions that are high on your agenda for this year? If so, what can you tell us about these?

EB: I already mentioned that we’re particularly excited about Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe. These markets are full of potential, and we’re eager to explore them.

We’ve been studying their unique regulatory landscapes and cultural preferences closely and believe these markets have a real appetite for our solutions, so we’re looking forward to getting started there.

SBC: What can we expect from GR8 Tech in 2023 and beyond? Can you give us a sneak peek into some of the developments we can expect?

EB: Expect to see us pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the iGaming space. Think of personalised experiences and more efficient operational processes. We want to be a one-stop shop for our partners, offering them a comprehensive set of solutions and products to cover every need they may have.

We’re also planning to expand into more international markets, using our experience and expertise to provide high-quality solutions to customers all over the world, regardless of their size or current tech capabilities. Let’s just say 2023 is going to be a GR8 year!
