German Tote and SIS enhance horseracing content across online and retail

SIS (Sports Information Services) has enhanced its international content offering by forming a new long-term deal with German Tote.

The extension provides the horse racing company with continued access to content from German Tote across retail and online channels meaning that races, such as Hamburg’s Deutsches Derby, will be made available to SIS partners globally.

This adds to an offering of content from over 170 racecourse tracks from five continents, including meetings from Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the US.

Riko Luiking, Managing Director at German Tote said: “It’s great to have secured this agreement for the long-term across online and retail, as it helps to showcase German racing to a huge international audience.

“We look forward to continuing to work together, providing excellent, competitive entertainment around the clock.”

SIS’ 24/7 Live Betting Channels, which provide over 75,000 live racing events every year, are delivered as an end-to-end solution, including live streamed pictures, data, and on-screen graphics with betting triggers.

“We have established a strong relationship with the German Tote, and we are delighted to extend our partnership over the long-term,” added Conall McSorley, Head of International Horse Racing.

“Our racing portfolio is of the highest quality, and we believe that our customers will enjoy the top-quality action that we can continue to provide them with from Germany.”

SIS also recently enhanced the racing content delivered to its UK and Irish bookmaker partners via its partnership with Media System Technologies (MST).

The arrangement now centres specifically on the distribution of the Italian Gallop Derby, which this year will run its 140th edition. This marks the first time British and Irish omnichannel operators will accept fixed-odds bets on the race.
