Harry Heynes to ‘significantly enhance’ growth prospects at SIS

SIS (Sports Information Services) has appointed Harry Heynes in the newly created role of Head of New Business.

Described by the live betting services supplier as an experienced igaming executive, Heynes will look to broaden the brand’s commercial reach as it continues to expand its global horizons and product portfolio.

Paul Witten, Managing Director of EMEA at SIS, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Harry to SIS. His commercial experience and proven business acumen will help to take our products further in new markets, as we continue to push the boundaries in terms of adding value to the sportsbooks of our partners.

“We are confident that this appointment in a newly created role will significantly enhance our prospects as we aim to continue growing in regulated markets across the world.”

Previously, Heynes was the Director of Business Development at Inspired Entertainment where he helped secure significant deals to expand the company’s market presence.

Heynes also led B2B business development at DraftKings, contributing significantly to growth while managing commercial deals with major data and odds vendors.

“I am delighted to join SIS at such an exciting time for the company, as it continues to increase its influence around the world,” added Heynes on his new role.

“Across racing, live numbers draws and event-based esports, the product mix is perfectly attuned to the needs of SIS partners.

“I am eager to get started and very much look forward to meeting new and existing partners at ICE Barcelona later this month.”

Meanwhile, he is said to join SIS at an ‘exciting time’ for the supplier, after having recently gone live with its esports betting product SIS Competitive Gaming in a 12th state in the US through deals with bet365 and FanDuel.

Speaking to SBC News in November, SIS’s Head of Commercial Partnerships Andy Kelly noted that the company is making ‘significant strides’ towards its aims, with the new appointment only adding to this.

“We’re now on the verge of having 200,000 SIS Competitive Gaming events annually,” he explained. “This is about providing short form betting opportunities on a 24/7 basis. The product itself is extremely engaging for bettors and always offers the highest level of integrity.

“We’re the only provider to hold the ESIC gold standard certification for the product, ensuring the highest level of integrity for operators and betters alike, whilst ensuring the margin is consistently between 6-8%+.”
