FIBA – The International Basketball Federation has confirmed the appointment of Perform Group (Perform), as its worldwide distributor of media-related rights attached to FIBA sanctioned tournaments and competitions.
FIBA governance awarded Perform Group the distribution rights for a period of four years, with the partnership set to cover more than 5000 live games. Perform will further gain exclusive rights to distribute FIBA content relating to the Basketball World Cup and EuroBasket competition.
Perform Group will further assist the governing body in the creation of its media platform ‘FIBA Media’, aimed at maximising Basketball exposure throughout multiple devices.
Perfrom governance stated that it would invest circa €500 million on the partnership, with the media rights specialists looking to enhance FIBA content production, broadcast services, data and distribution.

FIBA Secretary General and International Olympic Committee (IOC) Member Patrick Baumann said:
