Genius Sports has secured a stronger foothold in the US, as the ink dries on a newly-signed partnership with MaximBet.
As a result of the deal, Genius will provide MaximBet with official PreMatch, Live Data and LiveTrading solutions to deliver real-time price feeds and pin-point pricing.
Additionally, the sportstech and data firm will supply the operator – a private betting brand operated in partnership with the international Maxim media group – with Premier League, NFL, Nascar, NCAA and FIBA content, among other tournaments.
Sean Conroy, Executive Vice President, North America of Genius Sports, remarked: “Across official data, trading and highly targeted marketing, Genius Sports will play a central role in powering MaximBet’s exciting growth across the US. We’re excited to help engage and expand MaximBet’s passionate customer base.”
US sport-specific elements of the agreement will include provision of Genius’ full NFL product suite, covering real-time statistics, Next Gen Stats (NGS), and an official sports betting data feed.
Additionally, MaximBet will also gain access to Genius ‘first and only official data feed’ for NCAA college athletic betting, as a result of the company’s partnership with the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
Daniel Graetzer, MaximBet CEO & Founder, said: “A premium betting experience requires the best and most exclusive content which makes Genius Sports the ideal partner for MaximBet as we ramp up for growth across North America.
“We are the only true lifestyle sportsbook, offering players incredible, money-can’t-buy access to MAXIM parties, courtside seats and more. Combining that with the real-time data our players need gives them a full offering not found elsewhere in the marketplace.”
The partnership represents the latest in a series of stateside-facing agreements secured by London-based Genius Sports, which provides its data services to sports betting and media clients.
Just last month, the firm signed a similar agreement with Bally’s Corporation, supplying the company’s betting division with official data and live streaming solutions under a multi-year contract.
This followed the release of its H1 trading results, which showed a 43% increase on corresponding 2021 earnings to $157m (H1 2021: $157), as Genius seeks to ramp up its US office after listing on the NYSE.
