FSB ramps up global expansion plans with new exec hires and Nairabet launch

FSB has continued to scale up its global ambitions by launching with Nairabet and also confirming two new additions to its executive leadership team.

By launching with Nairabet, a Nigerian gambling operator, FSB will not only strengthen its position in the African market but will also demonstrate “its ability to deliver a Tier 1 customer with a high quality and scalable offering”.

Adam Smith and Ian Gray will also join the FSB leadership team. Gray, who will take on an interim role to lead the company’s Human Resources department, will take responsibility for overseeing the “structural transformation” of the company.

Discussing his new role, Gray said: “With strong backing, customers (more to come) and a world-class team, I am excited to be helping the FSB team.”

Smith joins FSB with a wealth of experience in large scale, complex, multi-jurisdictional regulated market delivery programmes, having overseen business scaling and transformation initiatives in the manufacturing and IT services sectors.

He will make sure that FSB’s delivery, technical procedures and infrastructures are in place. The provider explained that this will ensure that FSB can “execute on-time, on-budget, high quality deliveries” for its growing number of Tier 1 clients.

Smith said: “I am excited to bring my wealth of experience to help FSB further scale its global ambitions.”

The addition of Nairabet to its roster of partners, in addition to the new hires, mark the latest milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy which has received the backing of global private equity firm Clairvest Group

The multi-million investment from the Toronto-based private equity firm has helped accelerate FSB’s business transformation into a B2B-only technology service provider.

This has seen the company secure multiple European and North American partnerships in the process, the most recent of which has been a strategic client partnership with The Olympic Entertainment Group.

Mohit Kansal, Managing Director at Clairvest, said: “We are extremely pleased with the progress that FSB has made over the past two years, these management additions and our continued investment in growth and scaling re-affirms that commitment to the stable of Tier 1 customers we are building and very much look forward to continuing to work with the management team to scale the business.”
