SIS widens audience of Competitive Gaming offering via OddsMatrix

SIS (Sports Information Services) has integrated its Competitive Gaming offering into OddsMatrixEveryMatrix’s sportsbook platform and data feeds division.

Comprising more than 150,000 annual live events, SIS’ full Competitive Gaming library will be available within the provider’s portfolio of sports and esports betting.

This will see its customers gain access to short-form, event-based competitions on esoccer and ebasketball titles.

Andy Kelly, Head of Commercial Partnerships at SIS, highlighted the  partnership as central to the group’s aim of widening the audience of its Competitive Gaming offering.

“EveryMatrix is a renowned brand in the industry, and this integration with its OddsMatrix platform is a testament to the appeal of the fast-paced, round-the-clock content Competitive Gaming provides,” he said.

SIS explained that Competitive Gaming is optimised for betting, with on-screen graphics and live caster commentary to help drive bettor engagement.

EveryMatrix customers will have access to an ‘extensive range’ of pre-match and in-play markets and prices, whilst the company promises high integrity as each match is overseen by a trained referee accredited by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), with a real-time link to SIS’ trading team.

“Adding Competitive Gaming across our library of over 25 titles will enable our customers to access some of the most innovative next-gen betting content on the market today,” added Tor Skeie, CEO at OddsMatrix.

“This unique, short-form, action-packed content is proven to appeal to both new and existing sports betting and esports betting audiences and we’re excited to offer it within the wider OddsMatrix portfolio.”

Meanwhile, last week saw SIS link up with bet365 to bring fixed-odds horse racing wagering to a licensed sports betting platform in the US for the first time.

bet365’s first made its US debut in New Jersey back in 2019, and now also operates in Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio, Iowa, Colorado and most recently Indiana through a partnership with the French Lick Resort last month.
