Former FSB business development lead Andrew Grimshaw has been appointed by Checkd Group as the new Commercial Director of its Checkd Dev division.
Grimshaw has been tasked with driving growth in both European and North American markets, particularly the latter, where Checkd Dev has been developing tech solutions for the wider group’s FlashPick brands, which have gone live in markets such as Ontario.
His remit will involve coordinating the continuing expansion of technology-based solutions to Checkd’s media and operator partners across its active markets, as the group prepares to launch a sports betting app in North America later in the year.

Grimshaw joins Checkd from his position as Business Development Manager at omnichannel tech and solutions supplier FSB, taking an active role in the group’s partnership with Olympic Entertainment and World Cup preparations.
Prior to FSB, Grimshaw worked at SIS (Sports Information Services) as a Digital Sales Manager, and he also played a part in the ‘growth and internationalisation’ of WAB (Watch & Bet) racing.
He joins Checkd Dev off the back of a series of milestones, including development of an Acca Assist betting tool for Sky Bet, a Sky Sports Fantasy Football (SSFF) platform for the ongoing season and last year’s World Cup, and solutions for the talkSPORT EDGE app.
