Roobet and Chelsea FC embark on LatAm content partnership

Roobet has been named the official regional betting partner of Chelsea FC covering Latin America and Canada.

The multi-year deal, which aims to enhance user experience through promotional content and exclusive campaigns, also sees the brand expand its visibility and reach across 32 key markets.

Licensed in Curaçao, Roobet is a crypto sportsbook and casino active across various markets including the Americas and Oceania. Like other crypto-oriented betting brands, the Latin American markets, like newly launched Brazil, are of particular interest to the firm.

Anthony Brennan, Co-Founder and Head of Partnerships for Roobet, commented: “Roobet is excited to partner with Chelsea FC, and give Chelsea fans the opportunity to win money can’t buy experiences.

“Bringing the evolution of igaming to the world in partnership with Chelsea will continue to elevate the unique experience that Roobet offers to our players.”

The deal aims to leverage the Premier League team’s fanbase in the region to build a ‘wide array’ of digital, social and logistical assets, while providing an opportunity to engage new audiences.

In further detail, match tickets and hospitality will provide Roobet’s users with an opportunity to get closer to the club by attending fixtures at its Stamford Bridge home, as well as having the chance to watch training at the Blue’s Cobham training ground.

First team players will also work with Roobet to create ‘bespoke’ content through the partnership.

“We are really pleased to welcome Roobet to the club as our Official Betting Partner and Regional Partner for Latin America and Canada,” added Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer for Chelsea FC.

“There is a huge passion for sport and entertainment across the 32 territories for the partnership, which gives the club and Roobet an incredible opportunity to drive significant growth and value through tailored content and exclusive offers for fans and users.”

International and regional betting deals are becoming increasingly popular in the Premier League, largely due to a self-imposed ban on front-of-shirt betting deals coming into effect at the end of the 2025/26 season.

This is not the first betting partnership that Chelsea FC has secured before the betting sponsorship ban comes into play.

For example, it recently confirmed Betway as its official European betting partner which now has its branding displayed on LED advertising boards around the pitch during all home league and domestic cup matches.

A few months prior to this, MSport was named the official betting partner of the club in Africa.
