Sportsbet.io has introduced four new ambassadors; Hayden Bruce Jones, Jude Umeano, Kwasa Genesis and Shepherd Morena.

Getting involved in the brand’s Join the Crypto Experience program – designed to draw a wider audience – the influencers all come from ‘diverse industries’, each bringing their own expertise and audiences. 

Described as a significant name in South African sports media, Jones is the creator of SA Boxing Talk, and has become a popular figure in South African combat sports. The brand noted that his content has featured on networks such as DAZN, ESPN and Fox Sports. 

His platform has helped elevate boxing’s visibility in South Africa and more. Therefore, his collaboration with Sportsbet.io is looking to attract boxing fans who are curious about cryptocurrency and interested in exploring crypto-led betting.

Meanwhile, Umeano, a cryptocurrency trader and educator, has carved out a ‘prominent space’ in West Africa’s digital currency community. 

A statement from Sportsbet.io read: “With over seven years of experience in the crypto market, Umeano built his following from the ground up, sharing his insights and strategies with an audience looking to learn about digital asset trading.”

Furthermore, Genesis is a lifestyle YouTuber with over 170,000 subscribers, and has recently shifted some of his content to focus on cryptocurrency. 

“Known for his motivational and personal development videos, Genesis now incorporates his own journey into the world of crypto, offering viewers an accessible introduction to the space,” the company detailed.

Finally, Morena is said to help the firm by bringing a different angle with his focus on community building within the fintech and crypto gaming sectors. 

Morena, who creates content around trading and financial technology, is in the early stages of building a community centred around crypto gaming. 

All of the new recruits are aiming to bring unique perspectives and professional experiences, highlighting the brand’s continued emphasis on diversity and cross-industry appeal.

Another significant deal has happened for Sportsbet.io in recent weeks, linking up with La Liga in a bid to improve fan engagement.

The operator is now collaborating with the Spanish top-flight on new innovative experiences, exclusive offers, prizes and content designed to draw in football fans.
