Sportsbet.io and La Liga ‘go the extra mile’ with fan engagement

Sportsbet.io has revealed a partnership with La Liga in a bid to improve fan engagement.

The operator will collaborate with the Spanish top-flight on new innovative experiences, exclusive offers, prizes and content designed to draw in football fans.

Alex Haig, Director of Sportsbet.io, commented: “The launch of this partnership with La Liga underlines our commitment at Sportsbet.io to deliver the best possible experience to our players, going that extra mile to put them into the heart of the action.

“We have much more planned alongside La Liga, so watch this space.”

Additionally, Sportsbet.io and La Liga emphasised a focus on providing fans with the “best possible” experiences and opportunities to interact with the league, aiming to combine the thrill of football with Sportsbet.io’s platform.

As Vega noted, this partnership aligns with La Liga’s efforts to expand its global reach.

Recently, the league announced that the 22 December match between FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid is set to take place in Miami, Florida, marking La Liga’s first league game held outside of Spain after receiving approval from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

Jorge de la Vega, Business General Manager of La Liga, added: “We are excited to announce this partnership with Sportsbet.io, a brand that shares our vision of pushing the boundaries of fan engagement and innovation within sports.

“Together, we aim to deliver new and dynamic experiences for our fans, offering them fresh ways to engage with the passion and excitement that defines LALIGA. This collaboration marks an important step in our strategy to connect with global audiences and continue growing our international presence.”

This year has shown how partnerships with gambling companies can support these expansion goals. Dean Akinjobi, CEO of Football Media, facilitated a partnership between German club VfB Stuttgart and crypto casino Lucky Block

Akinjobi shared with Insider Sport how the deal would play a key role in helping Stuttgart reach the Asian market.
