BETER expands Setka Cup to Poland with new Gdańsk venue

BETER has opened the doors to its 13th Setka Cup venue with the table tennis platform finding a new hub in Gdańsk, Poland.

The sports arena will be the first in Poland, a milestone which BETER believes is “another step in the Setka Cup’s ambitious expansion strategy”.

Maria Mashchenko was recently appointed as the new General Manager of BETER Sports. In her new role, she will work on BETER’s sports operations, specifically co-ordinating the operations of the Setka Cup.

She said: “We are thrilled to share news about the Setka Cup’s international development. The launch of the new arena will strengthen and expand our tournaments and sports community, which already consists of 800 athletes.

“Setka Cup’s tournaments comply with the principles and rules of fair play, which are part of BETER’s in-house Integrity policy. All events of the Setka Cup maintain a consistently stable margin, fit the high demands of the betting industry, and are designed to meet the needs of next-gen players.”

The Setka Cup currently has venues in Prague and Chisinau, as well as across a number of cities in Ukraine – including Kyiv, Dnipro, Sumy and Lviv.

This new Gdańsk venue will host one tournament each day, consisting of round-robin stages whereby six players face off against one another for prizes.

With 15 fast matches each day, the arena means that BETER can provide its partners with content from more than 450 additional games each month.
