Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has announced that its newly integrated Sportnco subsidiary has secured a commercial agreement to provide system solutions for Betway Portugal (Betway.pt).
The partnership agreed with GM Gaming Limited, the operating company of Betway brand in Portugal, for the provisions of Sportnco’s sportsbook and player account management (PAM) solutions.
The agreement sees Sportnco expand its existing relationship with Betway’s European portfolio, in which the Toulouse-based tech incumbent has served as lead sportsbook and PAM solutions provider for Betway France.
As a result of the new agreement, GM Gaming will migrate Betway.pt from its current sportsbook and platform to Sportnco systems.
Hervé Schlosser, Managing Director of Sportnco, said “Sportnco is delighted to be working with the Betway brand in Portugal. It makes us very proud when an existing partner places the trust and confidence in our technology to help continue to power their expansion within multiple jurisdictions.
“We are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with our long-term partner.”
Last week, GiG announced that it had completed its integration of Sportnco, completing its acquisition of the tech firm for total consideration of €51 million.
The completion of the deal saw GiG upgrade its FY2022 forecasts to be in the corporate revenue range of €87-93m with an EBITDA of €30-35m – as the group’s tech portfolio is bolstered by the combination of Sportnco solutions alongside its existing high-growth media services.
Backing Sportnco as new tech partner, Raquel Gonçalves at GM Gaming said: “We’re really excited to continue our great relationship with Sportnco, a leading provider in the latest platform and technologies within the gaming sector, with this agreement. We’re looking forward to this venture which will strengthen our product offering for the Betway brand in Portugal.”
