GiG repositions itself as a ‘sportsbook first’ operator with Guts launch

Online gambling firm Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has launched its new sportsbook, Guts, which will see the brand reposition itself as a ‘sportsbook first’ operator.

New and existing users for the in-house brand’s sportsbook will be able to access an improved UI/UX, fast navigation as well as access to a mobile-focused platform.

As part of the new launch, GiG has highlighted key focus areas, including the development of trading tools, data driven odds and the creation of a full retail and online solution.

It comes as the operator moves to improve its two flagship brands, Rizk and Guts, as stated in its recent Q1 2019 report. Guts is set to place an emphasis upon sportsbook operations, while Rizk will address the casino side of the business.

GiG expects that it will break-even for its Guts sportsbook by the first half of 2020, set to be achieved through a new focused marketing strategy.

GiG launched its new sportsbook in June 2018 on its in-house brand Rizk.com and it has since been sold externally to brands such as MRG’s subsidiary 11.lv, Metal Casino and as an omni-channel sportsbook solution to Hard Rock International.
