SIS deepens commitment to Spanish horse racing development

Live betting services provider SIS (Sports Information Services) has extended its partnership with Spain’s horse racing organisation Asociación de Hipódromos Españoles.

The extended three-year agreement will see an additional 500 Spanish horse races brought to SIS’ live racing offering annually.

Broadcasts will show events from six of the country’s leading racetracks, including Hipódromo de La Zarzuela, Dos Hermanas, San Sebastian, Sanlúcar, Pineda and Son Pardo Y Manacor.

The 90-meeting calendar also includes group contests like the Gran Premio de Madrid and San Sebastian Gold Cup.

Rafael Marquez Ojea, President of the Asociación de Hipódromos Españoles, said: “Since 2019, SIS has been an invaluable partner in taking our races to new audiences worldwide.

“Extending our partnership with SIS made strategic sense as we look to further strengthen our presence within the global betting industry and ensure greater visibility for our compelling schedule of races.”

The renewal signifies the importance of the Spanish horse racing market for SIS and the company’s commitment to continuous investments in the sector.

SIS recently also bolstered its offering with the addition of horse racing fixtures taking place in Korea and Poland.

Conall McSorley, newly-appointed Head of Racing at SIS, added: “The Spanish market is very important to SIS, and horse racing from across the country has been an integral part of our live racing offering as it has grown in quality.

“To renew our agreement for a further three years underlines how much we value the top-class racing throughout the year and is consistent with our mission to bring operators and their customers the widest range of betting opportunities from around the world.”
