GiG upgrades GiG Comply with language detection feature

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has enhanced the capabilities of its marketing compliance tool, GiG Comply, by adding a new language detection feature.

The new feature will allow operators to ensure that they are compliant with regulatory guidelines in particular markets by identifying which language a website is using to promote their brand.

Ben Clemes, Chief Commercial Officer at GiG, said: “We are continuously improving and advancing on our products not only to ensure they reflect what is happening in the market but also so that we can continue to meet the needs of our partners.

“The new language feature not only helps to ensure that our partners are ahead of the game and are fully compliant in newly-regulated markets, but it also enables them to do so effectively and efficiently via a fast and automated process.”

The addition of the new language feature comes at a time when various different igaming markets are implementing more stringent compliance measures.

Operators will be able to ensure that they are acting within the limits of the regulations in markets such as Germany, where strict new compliance regulator measures have been set out by Germany’s minister presidents.

While the measures set out by the GlüNeuRStV are not due to officially come into force until 2021, GiG’s compliance tool will ensure that operators are both prepared and complying with the regulations in place.

This new addition to the GiG Comply function will support its ambition to become an ‘influential player’ in the global market, as revealed by GiG Media’s Managing Director Jonas Warrer within an analysis of its Q3 results for SBC News earlier this month.
