GiG engages with Rdentify to bolster player protections

Player protection solutions provider Rdentify has signed an agreement with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) for the provision of its responsible gaming risk detection chat features.

The real-time, live chat, text and email problem gambling risk detection solution assists suppliers like GiG in helping protect their partners’ players from harm that can be associated with online gambling, such as gambling addiction.

Rdentify reported that it has been working closely with GiG over the last few months to develop player chat solutions that complement its existing responsible gaming technology. It will provide GiG’s partners with an enhanced problem gambling chat monitoring process using machine-learning models and risk-based scoring systems.

This is collated on a supervisory dashboard as well as being communicated in real time to the agent during the live chat.

The RG chat platform ingests the live chat and email data in real time to build a seamless 360 view of customer vulnerability and risk in a CRM-style platform. To do this Rdentify utilizes advanced natural language processing technologies models tailored for the gambling space.

These include neural language models and deep learning; transformers, recurrent neural networks, sequence labeling and classification; domain-specific phrase lexicon and term embeddings; and transfer learning, semi-supervised learning and adversarial training.

According to the firm, this allows operators to identify, monitor and protect customers accordingly. Through rapid scaling and data development, GiG’s partners will be able to subscribe to and integrate sophisticated natural language processing software into their player chat with ease.

In turn, this will help them identify problem gamblers and vulnerable consumers, while adhering to safer gambling policies and compliance simultaneously.

Martin Collins, GiG’s Director of Sales and Business Development, welcomed the partnership, saying: “We are excited to welcome Rdentify as a new marketplace partner. They offer an excellent compliment to our responsible gaming feature through their natural language processing software.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to develop and improve our offering to help to create a safe and more sustainable player environment. Adding Rdentify as a complement to our existing responsible gaming features is a natural step in that direction.”

This new collaboration, said Rdentify, allows it to access GiG’s customer base across all jurisdictions, providing an opportunity to protect more players from potential harm. It will also help to further establish its vulnerability tracking technology as a tool within the gaming sector.

CEO and Founder Daniel Brookes commented: “It is my pleasure to announce that Rdentify can now be accessed from GIG’s Market place. GIG’s award-winning igaming platform is renowned for its innovative approach to technology, as well as their unwavering commitment to Responsible Gambling.

“This partnership offers a strong opportunity for Rdentify to provide our real time, live chat, and email problem gambling risk detection solution to a wider pool of international clients, and ultimately assist them in reducing risk and protecting their end user from harm.”
