SIS secures full Saudi racing broadcast rights

Sports Information Services (SIS) has secured the live picture and data rights for the full schedule of Saudi Arabian racing, with the agreement set to include The Saudi Cup.

After signing a two-year partnership, the full Saudi Arabian racing schedule will be made available to SIS’ network of customers via its live broadcast retail and online services, including its 24/7 Live Betting Channels.

Will Morris, Head of International Horse Racing at SIS, said: “We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with The Saudi Cup and distributing live pictures and data from the best of Saudi Arabian racing, including the world’s most valuable race.

“Through this deal we look forward to offering our customers across the globe even more first-class international racing as well as a significant number of new betting opportunities.”

Moving forward, all Saudi Arabian races will be supported by SIS’ end-to-end broadcast solution, thus providing bookmakers with profitable short-form content throughout the day.

In addition, SIS will broadcast The Saudi Cup on 20 February. The fixture has previously been recognised as the world’s most valuable horse race due to its $20 million prize fund and the individual $10 million cheque handed out to the Saudi Cup race winner.

The Saudi Arabian announcement furthers SIS’ global portfolio of international racing, which also includes events from Czech Republic, Dubai, Germany, Hungary, Latin America, Mauritius and Singapore, as well as the UK and Ireland.
