Novibet banks on Microsoft Azure to match its rapid growth objectives

Novibet has entered a ‘new digital era’ by migrating its core platforms and operating systems onto Microsoft Azure’s cloud computing network.

The CIS betting group described the Microsoft Azure cloud upgrade as a key technology project for 2021, which will help safeguard the technical capacity of Novibet to match its scale servicing multiple CIS betting and gaming jurisdictions.

Switching to Azure, Novibet underscored that its day-to-day operating teams will be supported by Microsoft’s 24/7 engineering network which will provide the best underlying technical maintenance.

Azure will also supply its microservices to Novibet, allowing the betting group to customise its systems architecture to dynamically match market-by-market scale demands.

Updating stakeholders, Novibet stated that it had banked on the Azure cloud computing network to achieve its goal of maintaining a fully flexible systems environment’ that enables scaling to cater for more traffic on its platform.

Microsoft Azure competes in the multibillion cloud computing and network support sector against the US tech giants of Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Oracle.

“We trust Microsoft’s vision and we are now entering a new digital era for Novibet, with great growth prospects for the future,” commented George Athanasopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Novibet.

“Lately, all our teams have been working round the clock, in collaboration with Microsoft, for the successful implementation of this significant project.

“With Azure cloud on our side, we are ready to respond and foresee the needs of our ever-growing customer base and provide them with a fully operational entertaining environment, while leading the way against the world’s top tier providers.”
