1account: Driving revenues through effective KYC solutions

Utilising effective KYC and player ID systems can help betting and gaming operators to increase the number of verified players, and ultimately drive revenues.

That’s according to 1account, a company shortlisted in the Fraud and Compliance Solution of the Year category for the SBC Awards 2020 (Wednesday 9 December), having been recognised for its KYC and age verification solution.

The solution, which 1account says can be offered to approved operators and affiliates at no cost, helps companies to reduce their overall compliance fees. 

The KYC specialist has attributed the success of its solution largely to a range of data sources which ‘check every API to achieve a match for up to 95% of legitimate individuals’ – a figure that is 10% higher than the industry average for a single solution.

During the awards ceremony, 1account will also sponsor the Socially Responsible Sportsbook category – a decision which was taken to ‘showcase its commitment to responsible gambling’.

In the Fraud and Compliance Solution category, 1account will go head-to-head with names such as GBG, GiG, GLI, W2, Hooyu and GeoComply. 

At this year’s ceremony, which will be held virtually, goalkeeping legend Petr Cech and sports broadcaster Kirsty Gallacher have been confirmed as the hosts – with Premier League footballer turned Hollywood star Vinnie Jones due to make an appearance.
