Las Vegas based Metric Gaming providers of the SuperLive in-play betting platform have announced the appointment Peter Bertilsson as Chief Executive Officer.

The software provider’s senior management reorganisation will see Bertilsson replace Metric Gaming founder Martin de Knijiff as CEO. Martin de Knijiff is set to assume the role of Director of Product Operations & Development.

Bertilsson an igaming veteran has held senior management positions within various igaming organisations. The Swede had served as Managing Director of Bwin Europe between 2010-2011. Prior to taking up the CEO position at Metric Gaming Bertilsson served as CEO of igaming technology and services provider Ongame AB.

Bertilsson brings a tacit level of knowledge with regards to European sports betting, managing igaming technology, corporate development and acquisition. Bertilsson has overseen the sales of Ongame AB to Amaya Gaming and the sale Boss Media to GTECH G2 in 2007.
