Becoming the Serie A’s club’s second betting sponsorship this week, the betting brand aims to continue its growth in the Turkish market after its launch in 2015.
Andreas Zimmerman, CEO of Sekabet, commented: “Football is more than just a sport, it is a way of life for millions of fans. At Sekabet, we have always strived to transcend the ordinary in the betting industry.
“Known for offering some of the highest odds in the market, we ensure that our users get the best value for their bets.”
Meanwhile, the deal will give AC Milan a new opportunity to increase its presence in the region, “a country with a strong and passionate Rossoneri fanbase”, the club stated.
“Our partnership with AC Milan, a club with an illustrious history and passionate fanbase, is a reflection of our dedication to excellence and signifies our commitment to bringing unparalleled experiences to fans worldwide,” Zimmerman added.
In detail, the pair highlighted that the partnership is set to launch with a ‘dynamic multi-platform promotional campaign’, which coincides with the beginning of the 2023/24 season.
Sekabet users in Turkey will now be able to engage more personally with the top-flight side, with the opportunity to win prizes, access exclusive content and take part in further experiences.
“We are delighted to kick off this collaboration in Turkey and welcome Sekabet into our family of regional partners,” added Maikel Oettle, Commercial Director of AC Milan.
“This new partnership gives us a fantastic opportunity to create new ways to engage our fans in a country with a passionate Rossoneri fanbase of over 15 million people through exclusive content and experiences.”
It was also revealed this week that Leyu Sports had formed a partnership with AC Milan to become the team’s official betting partner in Asia.
The sports entertainment brand highlighted its intent to put fan engagement ‘at the heart’ of the collaboration.
