OlyBet has been named the official betting operator in Europe for the 2023 Ryder Cup.
Following on from what has been described as a successful partnership between OlyBet Group and the DP World Tour, extending it to Ryder Cup was a ‘natural move’, the Olympic Entertainment Group-owned operator explained.
Corey Plummer, Chairman and CEO of OEG and OlyBet Group, stated: “The Ryder Cup is one of the world’s greatest sporting events. The competition delivers incredible moments that will live forever showcasing the unique fan passion, sportsmanship and drama that can only come from sport.
“We are thrilled about the opportunities that OlyBet will bring to golf and sports fans to engage with the Ryder Cup through OlyBet brands and media and in person at any one of our 150 casinos and 90 sports bars.”
Moreso, OlyBet’s customers are set to gain access to ‘iconic golfing moments’ that are unique to the competitiveness of the Ryder Cup.
The 2023 edition of the tournament is taking place at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome from 29 September – 1 October.
It was only in March that Olybet was named the official betting operator of the DP World Tour in a two-year collaboration.
The deal now covers Europe, with the exception of the UK and Ireland, as the betting company similarly aims to bring ‘more unique golf moments’ to sports fans.
In recent months, the Estonian operator also announced that it had become the title sponsor of the 2023 FIM Speedway GP of Latvia in Riga, which finishes 30 September.
