Olympic Entertainment Group-owned OlyBet has announced that it is extending its partnership with Real Betis for an additional three seasons.
The Estonia-based, pan-European gambling brand will continue to serve as the La Liga club’s premier regional betting partner in the continent, apart from Spain, following on from a collaboration which began in the 2021/22 season.
Corey Plummer, CEO of OlyBet, commented: “Extending the partnership with Real Betis confirms our support for the club, its community programs and its members.
“The Benito Villamarín Stadium is one of the world’s most exciting and electric football environments and we are thrilled to be part of it.”
The operator praised the Spanish top-flight side for its ‘commitment to excellence in sports and community engagement’, and highlighted how the club has recently witnessed significant growth.
“With notable sporting achievements, including a coveted title and three consecutive qualifications for European competitions, the club has garnered global acclaim,” Olybet said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Juan Useros, Business Director at Real Betis, emphasised the importance of extending a deal with a regional partner outside of Spain.
“We are very satisfied with giving continuity to this alliance for three more years,” he explained.
“It is important to see that big international companies are interested in Real Betis and we can expand our brand outside Spain thanks to all these sponsors. We have extended more than 90% of the agreements that were about to expire, which shows we are on the right path.”
This year, OlyBet has noticeably had a larger focus on golf, and was named the official betting operator in Europe for the 2023 Ryder Cup.
Following on from what was described as a successful partnership between OlyBet Group and the DP World Tour, extending it to Ryder Cup was said to be a ‘natural move’, the firm explained at the time.
