LiveScore launches £1m prize promotion for 25th anniversary

LiveScore has revealed a year-long user campaign as the operator celebrates its 25th anniversary.

For the upcoming opening weekend of Premier League games, the company is launching the promotion with a £1m increased prize for anyone in the UK and Ireland who plays LiveScore 6 for free.

Sam Sadi, LiveScore Group CEO, stated: “As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we reflect on the remarkable evolution of LiveScore and the incredible impact it has had on fans’ consumption of the sports they love.

“We are immensely proud of the journey we have embarked upon and appreciate the millions of fans who trust us to deliver real-time updates and captivating experiences every day.”

Currently, with its sister companies Virgin Bet and LiveScore Bet, LiveScore provides live updates, news content across multiple sports, and global video hub ‘Watch’. The firm was founded in 1998.

As well as housing match highlights from its live-streaming rights of the UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup for users in Ireland free-to-air, LiveScore also showcases global on-demand video content such as interviews, previews and analysis shows.

The group detailed that further celebrations will be announced over the coming months, with a series of ‘exciting activities’ planned throughout the year to mark the anniversary and reward users.

“LiveScore continues to push boundaries and embrace cutting-edge technologies to enhance fan experiences and redefine the future of sports coverage,” concluded Sadi.
