Betsson Group’s StarCasino Sport platform has enhanced its visibility in the Italian betting market and sports scene via as ‘official infotainment partner’ of SSC Napoli.
The operator has a history of working with the Serie A club, having first partnered with the team between the 2022/23 seasons. Betsson stated that the partnership marks a ‘welcome return’ to working with the club, with a focus of fan engagement with Napoli supporters.
StarSport has planned a range of infotainment activities with the 2023/24 Serie A champions, including quizzes, contests and tournaments to win prizes such as VIP tickets and autographed jerseys.

Sponsorship partnerships between betting firms and football clubs is banned in Italy under the country’s strict advertising laws. However, clubs are permitted to partner with content sites, such as in the case of Napoli’s new infotainment deal..
StarCasino Sport’s previous engagement with the Italian league has seen a partnership with AS Roma signed last year, with a similar focus on news and content to engage with the topflight team’s supporters.
Based in Milan, StarCasino Sport is a Betsson Group-owned sports entertainment site which distributes videos, exclusive news, interviews and insights from football influencers, journalists and celebrities.
