Kambi signs with Mohegan to strengthen Pennsylvania sportsbook presence

Kambi Group plc has signed a partnership with the Mohegan Pennsylvania casino for the provision of its sportsbook offering to a number of retail locations.

Kambi’s sportsbook will be onboarded to more than 20 kiosks that are part of the main Mohegan Pennsylvania entertainment venue, as well as the Mohegan Pennsylvania at Lehigh Valley Race and Sportsbook.

Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and Co-Founder, said: “With several successful partnerships with Mohegan already in place, we are pleased to agree [to] this new partnership as we continue to build on our strong relationship.

“This latest deal further reinforces Kambi’s position as the sportsbook provider of choice for tribes across North America, and we look forward to our ongoing collaboration with Mohegan.”

Mohegan is already utilising Kambi’s suite of sports betting products at the ilani casino in Washington, together with the land-based sites Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara in Ontario, Canada.

Tony Carlucci, President & General Manager of Mohegan Pennsylvania, said: “Mohegan Pennsylvania is excited to continue utilising the same Kambi technology platform that existed under our Kindred partnership, which will help to create a seamless process as the Sportsbook at Mohegan Pennsylvania fully rebrands later this Spring.”

Kambi has also seen success in Europe, with the Stockholm exchange-listed sportsbook provider gearing up for the upcoming EURO 2024 tournament. During the company’s Q1 update, Nylén promised a collaborative launch with LiveScore in the UK in time for the EUROs.

There are also similar plans to roll out in Sweden with state-owned operator Svenska Spel, together with Kambi’s Bet Builder tool going live on kwiff’s platform, which recently became the first commercial partner of Kambi’s AI-powered trading division Tzeract.
