Blaze has been named the latest sponsor of Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side Santos FC in a two-year deal.
The online sports betting company’s branding is set to appear on both the men’s and women’s first team kits.
Nick van Gorsel, Co-Founder of Blaze, stated: “We couldn’t be more excited to join Brazil’s most legendary football team and be its main sponsor for the next two years. Santos FC has a rich history of success and has produced some of the greatest players to ever grace the football field such as Pelé and Neymar Jr.
“We believe that Santos FC will do many more good things and we hope to be able to ride this wave with them.”
Furthemore, the operator outlined that the partnership is a strong branding opportunity which will allow it to create ‘incredible fan experiences on and off the pitch’.
The Brazilian football team has also had former links to gambling firms such as Dafabet in 2021.
“We are happy to announce this important new partner. We signed for two years, but I’m sure it’s the beginning of a promising future for everyone. Welcome to Santos, Blaze”, added President of Santos FC, Andres Rueda, praising the strengthening of fundraising with the Santos shirt.
“Without a doubt, it is another gift in the 111 years of the Club”, he concluded.
Similarly, at the start of this year, Campeonato Brasileiro Série B side, Atlético Clube Goianiense, also inked a partnership with Blaze, with the company now featuring on the club’s kits as the main sponsor.
