Ladbrokes signs Brisbane Roar shirt sponsors for one-off match

Australian A-League side, Brisbane Roar, will play Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool FC in a friendly on July 17th. Bookmakers Ladbrokes have secured a deal to be the A-League club’s front shirt sponsors for the clash.

Ex-Australian international John Aloisi was recently appointed head coach at the club, and this match will be one of his first undertakings.Only a limited number of such shirts will be created, and replicas featuring the Ladbrokes logo will not be being made available for fans to buy.

James Burnett, Chief Marketing Officer at Ladbrokes Australia, had this to say: “This is the first time Ladbrokes have had front-of-shirt position on a jersey and we are delighted that it is for such a high-profile game.”

The agreement follows on from the 2014-15 season in which Ladbrokes sponsored Brisbane Roar in a different capacity.
