Mindway AI has strengthened its commercial expertise after adding Willem van Oort as its newest board member.
Van Oort, an iGaming consultant and founder of several European iGaming communities, will support Mindway AI with its international expansion strategy and stakeholder management.

“Willem’s knowledge of the gaming industry is outstanding, and he brings strong strategic and commercial competencies that will help Mindway AI on its international growth journey.
“This year, we will be expanding both inside and outside of Europe, and Willem will be a valued advisor in this process.”
Mindway AI’s Board of Directors now consists of Mindway AI Founder and Professor Kim Mouridsen, Better Collective CFO Flemming Pedersen, former Director General at the Danish Gambling Authority Birgitte Sand, now Birgitte Sand & Associates, and its latest member, Willem van Oort.
Last year, Stockholm-listed publisher Better Collective purchased a 90% stake in Mindway AI – to help the company achieve its objective to become the lead software supplier for problem-gambling identification, prevention and intervention solutions.
Willem van Oort added: “Mindway AI has developed truly innovative, science-based solutions to detect at-risk gambling behaviour early on, and the company demonstrates great growth potential.
“I’m excited to become a member of the Board of Directors and help guide Mindway AI’s commercial development as it stands before an expansion into new markets.”
