Supporting its football markets and content, Coral has launched its first podcast ‘All to Play For’ produced by social media publisher JOE.
Launched this Thursday, Coral’s All to Play For podcast is hosted by comedian Tom Davies and former Premier League and England international Joe Cole as show anchor.
The podcast aims to blend expert opinions provided by special guests, with Coral market insights and comedic observations to accommodate the widest of audiences.
Coral launched the podcast supporting its new marketing directive of developing deeper content and engaging brand narratives for sports audiences; an initiative which saw the heritage bookmaker broadcast its new cinematic campaigns during 2020 for the Cheltenham Festival and the start of a new Premier League season.
Chris Brocklehurst, Head of Brand Marketing for Coral, commented: “We’re excited to be working with the team at JOE Media on this partnership, and with an array of great talent in Tom Davis, Joe Cole and incredible guests who’ll join us each week.
“At Coral we share the huge passion that football fans have for the sport and are looking forward to taking this weekly dive into the action with them, from analysis of the big games through to the untold stories from the dressing room.”
Thursday’s launch show saw Premier League’s legend and Coral Ambassador, Alan Shearer, join the podcast to look ahead to the international action and look back at his own England career.
Coral disclosed that the All to Play For podcast will be managed by its media agency 7Stars. Meanwhile, JOE will publish video highlights of the podcast across its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, ensuring maximum coverage of content.
“The launch of All To Play For comes at a time when we are witnessing a new age of original entertainment content,” said Alastair Griffin, Planning Director at JOE Media.
“Consumers are now perfectly relaxed about the idea of getting their fix of football analysis via YouTube or on a podcast; gone are the days when we all tuned in to Match of The Day or Football Focus on the TV at the same time every week.”
