BetComply welcomes Paola Menchem as legal lead

Igaming technical and regulatory compliance firm BetComply has announced the hiring of Paola Menchem.

Utilising her over two decades of experience in legal fields across the gambling industry, Menchem has been appointed as BetComply’s Head of Legal and Regulatory Compliance.

This experience includes more than 17 years as Corporate Counsel at Intralot –  a Greek responsible gambling service provider.

BetComply CEO Daniel Brookes commented: “It’s an exciting time to be expanding our legal and regulatory services, and Paola’s expertise makes her the perfect person to head up this growing function.

“With regulatory demands increasing worldwide, we expect to be supporting even more partners in this area with Paola at the helm.”

The inbound legal lead will head up BetComply’s growing legal and regulatory compliance function.

This offering now includes tools for licensing and compliance, due diligence, commercial structuring and IP, among other functions.

Commenting on her new role, Menachem added: “BetComply is at the forefront of helping businesses stay ahead of regulatory requirements, and I’m looking forward to helping our partners navigate ever-evolving regulatory and legal challenges with complete confidence.”

The news follows BetComply’s recent appointment of Warren Jacobs as a Non-Executive Director. He brings with him a strong reputation for scaling businesses and has experience working for major brands, including General Motors and Betfred.

In recent months, BetComply also announced the appointment of igaming entrepreneur and expert Warren Jacobs to its board as a Non-Executive Director (NED) of the technical and regulatory compliance agency

A figurehead in iGaming technology, Jacobs has served as CEO of Betable Group since 2018 and is also the chairman of ActiveWin Media, where he was previously the managing director for a decade.
