BetComply has announced the senior hire of Loes Wetzer to the role of Operations Director.
Adding to its rapidly growing team, Wetzer joins after more than 20 years of experience in project management and compliance consultancy. In this role, Wetzer will oversee the firm’s operations as it quickly scales.
Since entering the gaming industry, she has built up a wide network and experience in compliance and event management.
Daniel Brookes, CEO at BetComply, commented: “It’s a privilege to welcome Loes to Team BetComply.
“We’ve grown beyond expectations over the past few months, driven by a demand from our industry for trusted and reliable compliance expertise. As we take our next steps, Loes will be a vital part of our mission to bring world-class compliance support to even more partners.”
BetComply’s team has already expanded to almost 20 people, despite being founded less than a year ago.
Wetzer and the company will be supporting some of the top names in the sector in Europe and the Americas on both technical and regulatory compliance.
On her new role, Wetzer added: ”I couldn’t be more excited to join the dynamic team at BetComply.
“This is already home to many of the brightest minds in igaming compliance, and what they’ve achieved in such a short space of time is remarkable. I’m looking forward to playing my role in the journey.”
In further company news, sportsbook supplier Metric Gaming last week entered into a partnership with BetComply to further expand into regulated markets.
Some of the regulated jurisdictions that Metric Gaming has ventured into over the recent months include the UK and the Netherlands. BetComply will now help the company to further develop its compliance strategy and support its international growth.
