ActiveWin secures first European Apple ‘Search Ads Certification’

ActiveWin, the digital marketing division of UK bookmaker Betfred has confirmed that it has been accredited with an Apple Search Ads – ASA’ certification.

The digital marketing strategist becomes one of two European agencies to receive the accreditation from tech giant Apple Inc.

“Similar to Google, Apple Search Ads marketing incorporates keywords in app titles, descriptions and metadata to improve rankings to consumers who wish to discover relevant apps on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It is estimated that the number of global app downloads last year reached over 175 billion, making Search Ads increasingly crucial to brands who invest heavily in app creation.” ActiveWin details in its corporate update.

Launched in 2013 by industry marketing veteran Warren Jacobs, ActiveWin has acted as Betfred’s digital marketing lead for player acquisition, affiliates, lead generation and media buying services.

The success of Activewin has seen Warren Jacobs act as a trusted digital and technology advisor to Betfred founder Fred Done, advising the industry mogul on enterprise investments, new media strategies and product development.

Aside from Betfred and ActiveWin, the duo brokered deals with gambling tech firms including Nektan, Betable and Clicktech, as well as investing in online betting sites Kerching Casino and Bucky Bingo, and tech development leader Degree53.
