Favbet promotes Nikos Chalikias as new CEO

Malta and Ukraine-based Eastern European sports betting operator Favbet has confirmed the appointment of Nikos Chalikias as its new Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Favbet governance promotes Chalikias to the position of leadership having served as the firm’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO – 2016) and following a candidate internal and external review.

Chalikias has prior Eastern European sports betting experience having held executive positions at Gaming Synergies Ltd (2014-2016) and having served as Managing Director of Novibet.com (2013-2016).

Taking up leadership of Favbet, Chalikias will be tasked with driving an aggressive developing market strategy for the operator and its investors. Chalikias commented on Favebet 2017 goals and ambitions;

” I am excited about the opportunity to lead Favbet organisation into the next phase, with such a unique, strong CIS heritage and growing international presence over the last 17 years. I look forward to working with its experienced and talented team to take Favbet crown forward to an exciting new future.”

The promotion of Chalikias has been approved by Favbet owner Andrii Valierevich who commented on the leadership appointment “Nikos Chalikias appointment as a CEO marks the next chapter of Favbet’s success story.
