In recognition of its commitment to ensuring a high standard of data security across its online platforms, Betsson Group has been accredited with the ISO 27001:2013 certification.
The certification, which is regarded as the international standard for implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS), will form part of Betsson Group’s future strategies to pursue new gaming licences.
Jesper Svensson, CEO for Betsson Operations, commented on the accreditation: “This accreditation affirms our ongoing vigilance for protecting our customers’ and clients’ data and that all our processes across the organisation meet or exceed the ISO standards.
“I am proud of the many talented people at Betsson Group who work around the clock in providing a secure and reliable service to our customers, for achieving this recognition.”
The ISO 27001:2013 certification was issued following a company-wide audit from the international testing agency, ACM, which will continue to perform annual external audits on Betsson’s performance.
The group has emphasised that the new accreditation will further strengthen its commitment to data security, and will facilitate the continuing work towards maintaining and exceeding ISO standards.
