SBOTOP has signed an agreement with Premier League club Fulham FC, becoming the team’s sponsor for the 2023-24 season and continuing its presence in the English top-flight.
The operator, registered in Isle of Man as Celton Manx Ltd and active via the SBOTOP/SBOBET betting brands, will have its logo featured on the front of the Cottages’ first team and on the sleeves of its training kits for the duration of the upcoming season.
Fulham will officially launch its kit on 30 June, wearing the new apparel for its July pre-season matches in the Premier League Summer Series in the Americas. Additionally, SBOTOP has also secured an ‘in-stadium brand presence’ to boost its visibility through the Premier League’s ‘global audience’.
Bill Mummery, SBOTOP Chief Executive Officer, said of the partnership: “We are delighted and excited to bring our two ‘Premier Brands’ together. Jointly, we look forward to increasing both our brands’ awareness on a truly global platform in the coming seasons. I wish Fulham an enjoyable and rewarding trip to the USA.”
This is not SBOTOP’s first partnership with a Premier League team, as the betting group has been a partner of Leeds United since 2021. However, with Leeds’ relegation from the top-flight last year, the deal marks the return of the brand to the league for the forthcoming campaign.
Speaking to SBC News following the Premier League’s vote on shirt sponsorship, which will see a withdrawal of front-of-shirt arrangements from the 2026/27 season onwards, Mummery stated that SBOTOP will continue to ‘remain part’ of the club’s story going forward.
Meanwhile, the deal further extends Fulham’s relationship with the sports betting space, with the firm being involved in a long-standing deal with Fitzdares. However, the members club bookmaker does not maintain any shirt sponsorship arrangements with the club.
