The Austrian Sports Betting Association (OSWV) has partnered with Aleatrust and its training platform, the E-Casino Academy.
The company will provide an ‘extensive range’ of training courses tailored to the needs of the sports betting industry, with the aim of “setting new standards” in further training.
Members of the body will benefit from courses on ‘crucial’ topics such as money laundering prevention, data protection, data security and compliance, including anti-corruption, whistleblower protection and code of conduct.
Sharif Shoukry, Managing Director of the OSWV, commented: “Aleatrust’s new active supporting membership is an important step forward for the OSWV and its members.
“It offers access to tailored training that is specifically tailored to the requirements and challenges of our industry. We are convinced that this collaboration will make a significant contribution to professionalisation and security in the Austrian sports betting market.”
The OSWV also praised the availability of its training programs online, stating that the flexible learning environment ‘offers an optimal solution to meet the need for continuous education and training without having to rely on traditional training formats that are tied to time and location’.
“This type of training not only saves valuable resources, but also enables consistent, high-quality training for employees, regardless of their individual schedules or the company’s location,” the association explained.
The pair also detailed the specialised course on money laundering prevention, developed in collaboration with the renowned expert Dr. Elena Shershneva, stating that the availability of the course online represents a ‘unique opportunity’ for members.
This aims to underline the organisation’s commitment to strengthen the industry in terms of compliance and security and promote a responsible and integrity betting environment.
