Betano introduces Twain Sport to Brazil and Ontario markets

Twain Sport has debuted in Brazil and Ontario with Betano, the sportsbook operator of Greece-based international firm Kaizen Gaming.

The BetGames-owned sport vertical’s rollout with Betano also marks a Latin American first whilst strengthening the existing Canadian presence for it’s format of 24/7 hybrid sports.

BetGames CEO, Andreas Koeberl, stated: “We’re hugely ambitious with Twain Sport – it’s a product like no other and offers an incredible opportunity for operators. This is reflected in the interest we’ve attracted since launch and leading, major names like Kaizen Gaming are rightly choosing it to boost their brands.”

In detail, BetGames’ 24/7 Twain Sport is available in both football and basketball formats with a total of 1,440 matches per day and 43,200 per month.

The company allows for professional athletes to compete in daily one-on-one challenges, with non-stop 60-second matches available every two minutes throughout the day.

Twain Sport has been designed to be a sporting complement for traditional igaming. The vertical is now live with more than 60 operators across Europe, Africa and the Americas, with a further 20 contracts currently under negotiation.

Having received multiple new licences from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) in April, BetGames set out its plans to deliver its Twain Sport products to licensed operators within the market.

Following this, Ian Catchick, Chief Product and Business Development Officer at BetGames, discussed with SBC News about how the UK market was the ‘perfect match’ for Twain Sport products for two key reasons: size and sports.

He said: “We’ve got some really engaging, high quality, high frequency content that we’ve enhanced even further with our new sports vertical. We’ve also recently launched our Twain Sport products on a 24/7 basis, meaning that players can place a bet 30 times every hour for 24 hours a day.

“Our Twain Sport product seems to be something that has been particularly appealing to the UK customer, and it’s a product we believe will only grow further.”
