Betano has announced that it has been granted the naming rights of Série B of the Brazilian Championship.
As the second division is rebranded to Série B Betano 2023, the operator gains visibility on LED panels, central and inflatable pre-match carpet, as well as carpets on the pitch during games.
Further brand exposure includes logos on the benches, custom replacement plaques and inserts in the backdrop of field interviews.
Alexandre Fonseca, Betano’s Country Manager in Brazil, noted: “Conquering space not only as an official sponsor of the 2023 Brazilian Championship, but also the naming rights and official sponsorship of Série B reflects how much football, as a national passion, also represents one of the main pillars of Betano in the promotion of the sports industry.”
The deal follows the operator’s recent acquisition of the naming rights for the Supercopa do Brasil and Copa do Brasil 2023.
“We are very happy with the news, which brings us even closer to the public and reflects all the strength and confidence we have in the sports betting market,” Fonseca continued.
The Kaizen Gaming-owned gambling company’s branding will also appear in the entry protocol for the teams on the pitches and in the tournament’s awards.
Série B kicked off on 14 April with the clash between Guarani and Avaí which ended in a 4-1 win for the former.
Further big moves that the operator has made in the sport include being named the first official betting partner of the World Cup in a partnership with FIFA in 2022.
