Novibet has strengthened its senior leadership team after confirming that Yannis Xirotyris will become the operator’s new Chief Commercial Officer.
In his new role, Xirotyris will take a ‘data-based, analytical approach’ to the company’s holistic growth strategy as Novibet continues to enter ‘new demanding markets’.
George Athanasopoulos, Chief Executive Officer at Novibet, commented: “We are very happy to welcome Yannis Xirotyris to our team. His significant experience in online gaming entertainment makes his market insight undeniable.

Prior to joining Novibet, Xirotyris previously worked at both PokerStars – which later became a part of Flutter Entertainment – where he held the positions of International Development Director and Director of Global Marketing.
During this time, he was responsible for managing a number of Flutter’s brands, having also contributed to PokerStars’ global expansion.
Xirotyris was also the Regional Manager for Greece & Balkans at Sportingbet where ‘he was one of the first executives of the local online gaming market’ – playing a key role in the expansion of Sportingbet across the two regions.
