DraftKings extends partnership with MLB

MLBHaving confirmed a $250 million investment venture by Walt Disney Co, daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has further announced that it has extended and expanded its partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB).

The expansion of services and promotion sees DraftKings host co-branded exclusive daily fantasy games. MLB will further boost its association with the operator by offering players exclusive prizes and by pushing exclusive DraftKings contents through its media and social verticals.

DraftKings announced the extension of its MLB partnership, by hosting an exclusive $100,000 free MLB opening day tournament.

MLB Vice President of Business Development Kenny Gersh commented on the agreement :

“Expanding our exclusive partnership with DraftKings will bring new and exciting ways for fans, particularly younger fans, to play daily fantasy baseball.DraftKings has established itself as a trusted leader through a high quality fan experience in a rapidly changing space and we are happy to continue to have them on board,” he explained.
