Serie A club ACF Fiorentina have announced sports betting and gaming company Betclic as one of their lead sponsors.
In addition to the customary shirt and stadium branding, the deal will include a number of social and digital media initiatives designed to engage the Florence club’s fan base. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Betclic joins a Fiorentina commercial portfolio that includes kit supplier Joma, title sponsor Save the Children and media partner Sky Italia.
“We are proud to be a partner of a team rich in history and success like Fiorentina”, said Francesco Postiglione, the director general of Betclic.
“We are equally certain that, thanks to the support of all the team and its fans, we will be able to establish a new model of sponsorship, which insists on the involvement of more and more fan interaction.”
Fiorentina currently sit 16th in the Serie A table, without a win in their first two games of the new season.
