Marathonbet is still the shirt sponsor of Fulham

Marathonbet has made a bid to stay in the Premier League after signing a deal to become the new betting partner of West Ham United. This long term partnership runs from the beginning of the 2014/15 campaign, and will also see them become the title partner of the Club’s annual prestige home pre-season match, The Marathonbet Cup.

Last season saw Marathonbet become the shirt sponsor of Fulham FC, but the Cottagers were relegated and will play in the Championship this year.

West Ham United Commercial Director Felicity Croft said: “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Marathonbet, a global brand with a long and successful association within football. With Marathonbet coming on board as the Club’s Global Betting Partner, this is an exciting time for both parties. I am sure the first-ever Marathonbet Cup will prove to be a prestigious pre-season match and the perfect way to kick-off the partnership.”

Marathonbet CEO Graham Luke said: “We’re delighted to have reached an agreement with West Ham United. The club is known throughout the world for its proud history and its loyal, passionate fanbase.

“The future of West Ham United also looks very bright with the club preparing to move to the Olympic Stadium. The club’s ambitions echo our own as we look to grow and expand into new territories. This global agreement is a key vehicle in helping us reach our strategic goals.”
