Sportium the Spanish market joint-venture of Ladbrokes and Grupo Cirsa has announced a new dawn for Andalusian racing opening its new wagering property at the ‘Gran Hipódromo Dos Hermanas’ racetrack.
Last November Sportium announced that it had secured an exclusive partnership with Dos Hermanas operator AHD Iberia, moving to revamp the historic Andalusian racetrack’s entire wagering capacity.
Citing a number of major upgrades, Sportium has delivered Dos Hermanas first on-course betting terminal network. Furthermore, bolstering wagering engagements, Dos Hermanas will become the first venue in Andalucia to offer racing content from all major races held in Spain, the UK and France.
Updating stakeholders, Sportium governance states that it ‘expects to end the year with more than 250 locations of external equestrian betting fully operational in Andalusia’.
Furthermore, seeking to ‘revive Spanish racing’ as a popular market proposition, Sportium will move to broadcast Dos Hermanas races across its Spanish retail network.
Alfredo Kindelan , Director of Retail of Sportium has stated that “this new product is incorporated into the firm commitment of Sportium to increase the quality content it offers its customers throughout Spain, being pioneers and leaders through various agreements with the main suppliers of racing content and retransmission signals, such as SIS, ARC, PMU, GBI, GHA and offering its clients exclusive content that adapts to their demands ” .
