Ladbrokes pays homage to the wave for Euro 2024

Ladbrokes has debuted ‘Bring Your Wave’, its new TV and multi-media advertising campaign for the UEFA Euro 2024 Championships and the upcoming 2024/2025 football season.

The campaign sees Ladbrokes pay “homage to football’s most iconic celebration, as a Mexican wave escalates and ripples throughout the city”.

Bring Your Wave is Ladbrokes’ second multi-media campaign devised by creative agency Neverland, working alongside the7stars as lead marketing planner for the campaign.

Previous work saw Neverland refresh Ladbrokes brand and marketing in 2022, launching the highly successful “We Play Together” campaign, a first-of-its-kind VFX motion capture campaign recreating the epic running montage of Rocky Balboa.

Ladbrokes’ Anna Kochanska said: “Bring Your Wave is a rallying cry that will reverberate with football fans across the country. Our campaign celebrates their passion, elation and energy, while playfully capturing the mood of the nation.”

The We Play Together campaign garnered multiple accolades, including Editor’s Pick by LittleBlackBook and CampaignLive.

Rich McGrann, Joint ECD of Neverland, remarked: “This time we’re excited to bring the world together around the Euros with a huge Mexican wave.”
