Svenska Spel will continue to work with Stockholm marketing agency Happy F&B as lead ‘brand development’ agency for Sweden’s national lottery and games company.
The renewal follows an internal review carried out by Svenska Spel management, which examined all company marketing disciplines and existing agency relationships.
Despite working across Svenska Spel marketing campaigns since 2018, Happy F&B was required to re-pitch its agency services against new incumbents.
“We are very happy to be able to extend with Happy F&B as our lead brand development agency,” said Joakim Mörnefält, Communications Director of Svenska Spel.
“With their experience and expertise in strategy and design, ensures that they remain a valuable partner for Svenska Spel.”
Maintaining its new contract, Happy F&B will work alongside Forsman & Bodenfors – Svenska Spel’s new lead creative marketing agency, which took over the firm’s multimillion SEK advertising account last month.
Happy F&B’s remit will focus on the strategic promotion of Svenska Spel’s goodwill values and funds raised for numerous Swedish charities and social benefits.
2021 will see Svenska Spel carry one of Swedish advertising’s highest spend accounts, as the lottery operator serves as principal sponsor of the Team SOK Olympic Athlete development programme for this summer’s Olympic Games.
