Amelco bets on horse racing amidst platform upgrade

Amelco has prioritised horse racing betting as a foundational product after announcing the launch of its newly upgraded horse racing offering.

Aiming to offer an overall stronger horse racing betting product, Amelco’s revised product will deliver a modular, API-first platform built for speed, scale and seamless integration with racing content providers.

Matt Parr, Amelco’s Head of Horse Racing, commented: “Racing remains one of the few truly global, around-the-clock betting opportunities, offering events from tracks in the UK, Ireland, US, Australia, South Africa and beyond.

“It’s a foundational product for any sportsbook that wants to provide continuous engagement. Amelco’s new product ensures our partners can meet this demand and consistently deliver the best possible experience.”

The company’s horse racing offering provides Amelco partners with a comprehensive and fully managed service, packaging together dynamic odds, global racing content, integrated live video streaming and real-time racing data.

Amelco’s relaunched horse racing offering has arrived just in time for a packed schedule of popular betting events, with the Epsom Derby, Royal Ascot and York’s Ebor Festival all around the corner.

“Our platform equips operators with ‘always-on’ racing coverage, coupled with dynamic odds, live streams and best-in-class content,” Parr added. “Racing is a fundamental component of any successful sportsbook, and we are proud to introduce a world-class solution that brings horse racing to a whole new level.”

Earlier this year, Amelco announced it had strengthened its geofencing capabilities in partnership with Radar, aiming to ensure compliance for its partners by implementing “next-generation” geolocation alternatives.

The addition of geofencing capabilities further enhanced Amelco’s suite of tools to support operators navigating increasingly complex regulatory landscapes, complimenting the company’s existing offering of an in-house player account management system, a bonus engine, multi-state wallets, mobile app support, and various data feeds.

Amelco’s geofencing capabilities are included within its North American product, available across 17 states and utilised by current partners such as Fanatics, Hard Rock Bet, Saracen Casino, Entertain and Flutter.
