Global Gaming strengthens its executive team amidst expansion

Global Gaming has appointed Mark Wadsworth as a member of its executive team as the company looks to to support the recent expansion in Malta.

Wadsworth joins the firm as Director of the Group’s companies in Malta. Here he will head up two new major development projects.

Prior to joining, Wadsworth worked at Betsson in the role of Head of Platform. He worked across 25 different casino brands with a team of ten product owners.

He has a history in the industry beyond this too with over ten years of experience. Wadsworth set up The Game Factory in Malta where he helped to build its gaming platform using open-source technology and producing over 40 Flash-based games.

Using the same platform, he went on to develop the first ever live in-play lottery product at Contagious Gaming, which sees lottery numbers selected by the time a goal is scored in a football match.

Stefan Olsson, CEO at Global Gaming, said of the appointment: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark to the team, in what is an exciting time for Global Gaming.

“Mark has a wealth of experience in the industry and a track record of developing innovative and sophisticated gaming platforms. We’re very confident he will become a valuable asset to our team.”

Wadsworth himself remarked: “I’m very excited to be joining Global Gaming, a company which places innovation at the heart of its operations.

“We have some special projects in the pipeline which I can’t wait to be involved with, in what is sure to be a very interesting period of growth for the company.”

Global Gaming offers both B2C and B2B options to the gambling industry. In addition to Malta it has offices in the UK, Estonia and Malmo in Sweden where its headquarters are based.
